What is The Q and A Sales Podcast?

Salespeople constantly have questions running through their minds, and the purpose of this podcast is to answer those questions. Here is the basic framework for the show; Paul is going to answer one question per show. Some answers are pretty straightforward, and other answers are more complex. Sometimes there will be guests, and other times it will just be Paul.

You might be wondering, “Where does Paul get these questions?” From salespeople, of course. Paul is constantly interacting with salespeople. Whether it’s during his training seminars, keynote presentations, or just having a one-on-one conversation, salespeople will undoubtedly ask him a question. Those questions are turned into a show. You can also ask a question by completing our form on the home page. This podcast was created for you, but it’s inspired by you. If you have a question, ask it!

Paul Reilly Headshot

Who is Paul Reilly?

Paul Reilly is a salesperson, professional speaker, sales trainer, author, and podcaster. So, what qualifies Paul to answer these questions…Well, he has probably made every mistake you can make in sales (just partially kidding)!

Paul is also a student of the profession, and his mission—and the mission of his training company—is to help salespeople compete more profitably by selling on value, not price. Paul Reilly and Tom Reilly literally wrote the book on Value-Added Selling. Paul’s first sales job was in high school selling carwashes. He sold jewelry and painting services in college. Paul sold propane for Ferrell Gas—the exact same product as all of the other competitors. He also sold tools and fasteners for Hilti in the construction and petro-chemical industry. Hilti is a premium, differentiated brand that commanded a premium price. Finally, Paul sold medical equipment before getting into the training and speaking business. He’s experienced and overcome many of the same difficulties you may be experiencing now.

There’s a little background on the show. The show is updated weekly with the questions you ask. So, please go to the home page, sign up, subscribe, share it with your friends, but most importantly, ask the question that you want answered.
